Default 'From' address
Hi all!
We have multiple teams under our account, each with a different sending address. Under Email Configurate we're required to set one of our teams as the "default" address. This has burned us a few teams when teams forget to set the sending info in campaigns and canvases. For anyone running multiple teams, any advice on how to treat this default address? We're training now, but setting the 'from' address isn't super intuitive for Campaigns and Canvases.
I have nothing to offer beyond a good QA process. We ensure that we send a test of every campaign and have a rigid checklist which includes all of the different things that need to pass QA for us to be confident in sending a message.
deblock1376 does each team have a separate audience, or some identifiable data point for the users? You have to option to "Customize From Display Name + Address" for each campaign. If there exists a data point to help determine which team sends the campaign, you could let Liquid write the "from name" and the part of the email address before the domain.
The other option would be to instruct each team to create campaigns by duplicating a campaign they've sent in the past (which will inherit the send name+email), rather than creating a new campaign and having Braze put the default send settings. This might also save them some time and make them more efficient, but they need to pay more attention to the audience tab and make sure they've updated it from the copied campaign 🙂

A QA process and staff training are the answer here. It's different from our previous ESP, so just getting used to the change. We send several campaigns per day, so we're just in the growing pains phase of migration. Thank you both!
