Mozilla Thunderbolt Safety Mode - Email Display

Hi community!

A user of ours uses the Mozilla Thunderbolt email client with the safety mode switched on. The email is displayed as plain text, images are not recognized at all.

Does anybody know if that is normal behavior for that email client?
