Unsubscribed clicks
Hello,
I would like know which users cliked on unsubscribed link in a specific message.
I don't find how to make a segment to find this. It is possible? We know the numbers of clicks for each message but I would the users list.
For exemple : in canva A, find the users which click on message 1 in the unsubscribed link.
Best regards.

Hi Florian!
Anastasia here, an ex-Braze lifecycle marketing consultant. Hope your day is going well!
Creating a segment composed of all people who received the relevant message, last engaged with a message at that time, AND whose subscription status is now unsubscribed should give you a strong sense of how many recipients unsubscribed in that particular message.
To get more granular, though, I'd recommend one of two options:
1. Partner with your BI team to run a Currents export of all users who had an Email Unsubscribe event on their profile associated with that message ID. This option would require you have access to Currents.
https://www.braze.com/docs/user_guide/data_and_analytics/braze_currents
2. Or, for future messages, use link aliasing to add an alias to your unsub link. Then, you can create a segment of users who click that alias.
Docs: https://www.braze.com/docs/user_guide/message_building_by_channel/email/templates/link_aliasing
Hope this helps!

Thank you for you answer Anastasia.
However, if a user is already "unsubscribed", the date is not updated and it will not be in the segment.
The Currents is a good solution but it requires the BI team which have not the time.
Finally, the alias can work with another links but the "unsubscribed" link ({{${set_user_to_unsubscribed_url}}}) from Braze is not in the list...
So I can conclude it's not possible to flag people who click on {{${set_user_to_unsubscribed_url}}}...- anastasia-eActive Member
Hi again,
Have you looked into using the "User Update" step in Canvas? If you want to capture and segment by a timestamp users unsubscribe, you can do so through adding a User Update step (which is basically a webhook in Braze to the user profile) that triggers when a user updates their subscription status to "unsubscribed." Important note that updates to the user profile, such as adding a date of unsub through a User Update, do take up data points.
Action-based trigger in Canvas: https://www.braze.com/docs/user_guide/engagement_tools/campaigns/building_campaigns/delivery_types/triggered_delivery/#step-1-select-a-trigger-event
User Update step: https://www.braze.com/docs/user_guide/engagement_tools/canvas/canvas_components/user_update
Data points:

Hope this helps.

I think you should follow these steps:
Access Reporting or Analytics: Go to your email marketing tool's analytics or reporting section.
Select the Specific Message: Choose the campaign or message for which you want to track unsubscribe clicks.
Create a Segment: The segmentation feature filters users based on their activity. Look for an option like "Clicked a specific link" or "Unsubscribed".
Filter by Unsubscribe Link: Specify the unsubscribe link as the link clicked. This will narrow down the users who clicked on that particular link.
