We're growing fast and we have some very exciting plans. We're looking for a CRM Manager to help us develop and execute our CRM strategy.
We're looking for a CRM Manager with a passion for clever and innovative marketing. Sitting within the engagement side of our Growth team, you will work closely with both in-house creative and data teams to make sure beautiful, engaging content reaches the right people at the right time, whilst supporting the wider growth team on acquisition, retention and increasing LTV.
We believe personalisation is the difference between unwanted spam, and a message that makes someone smile. We need someone who can use email marketing, push notifications and in-app experiences, to drive results for Chip and delight our customers. We want someone who can test everything for perfection. Find out what subject lines give us the best rates, when's the best time to send a push notification, who needs a gentle nudge and who needs a shiny incentive to complete an action.
You’ll have ownership of our customer journeys and will report to the Head of Engagement, within the Growth team.
You'll be working with one of the fastest-growing fintechs, helping us define how we use data, content and messaging to drive our business and help make saving effortless for millions. You'll share your passion and experience with those around you, allowing and encouraging your less experienced teammates to step up to the challenges.
Chip has grown massively in 2023, driven by market-leading and innovative products, welcoming hundreds of thousands of customers, and billions of pounds to Chip. Now, the next challenge in front of us (and our new CRM Manager) will be delivering on two things; 1) making our users love Chip, 2) getting them to use all our products and features.
What you can expect to be doing:
- Working with the Head of Engagement you will support the execution of the CRM strategy from larger scale campaigns to ongoing customer journey/lifecycle management (including everything from idea creation, through campaign setup, to analysis and reporting)
- Work closely with the wider Growth team to support activities that drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
- Work with the Web Marketing Manager to support web-to-app onboarding journeys.
- Implement a continuous test-and-learn approach to our CRM strategy to optimise the performance of our campaigns and gain invaluable insights.
- Partner with multiple teams - from product to commercial, CS and operations - to effectively deliver transactional communications.
- Develop onboarding funnels and automated CRM flows to support business North Star metrics..
- Work closely with the content team to send messaging that delights our customers and builds our brand.
- Work closely with the customer insights team to understand our database and create customer segments for personalised messages.
- Champion our CRM tool (Braze)
What we’re really looking for:
- Strong CRM experience - ideally Braze
- Data-driven and confident at working to move KPIs
- Bring a strong knowledge of CRM best practices, but are keen to learn and innovate with new mediums and technologies
- Mobile app engagement experience (i,e. in-app/push notifications as well as emails)
- You have built funnels, CRM flows and other customer engagement plans
- Are as comfortable working with creatives as with data scientists and developers
Desirable experience & skills:
- Financial marketing experience (or similar regulated industry)
- Experience with Braze
- Start-up/scale-up experience
- Building and designing emails, push notifications and in-app messaging

We want a real person, with interests outside of work, to join our team. You could be a dancer, a gamer, a musician, a parent, a hockey fan, or even that one person that still writes Twilight fan-fiction. Doesn’t matter to us.
