Email setup
Hello! I'm new to Braze and trying to get some simple templates set up. I can't get my email body to align w/ my footer content block. I'm also trying to understand when to use the custom footer vs. content block to create a footer in Braze. The former seems to have very few options to make look nice while the latter is more flexible. Is that the difference? Can someone help me understand how to line up a content block with my template? The desktop looks fine but the mobile is not aligning. Is this a bug?Solved2.2KViews0likes3CommentsUsing Attachements on Email Templates
Hello guys, I have an email campaign that contains an attachment to be included in sendout. With the Braze magic, is it possible to do it? Is anyone find a solution?] Attachment can be a pdf, jpg or png. Can you please share your experience or a way to do it? Thanks!800Views0likes5CommentsGuidelines for different email types
Does anyone have helpful articles or case studies that describe the difference between marketing, operational and transactional emails? I'm currently helping define this for my company as we migrate to Braze from other platforms and decide what should/shouldn't live in Braze - would be really helpful to get an example of how others have defined this for their company.652Views0likes5CommentsNew HTML editor - link templating?
Hi Everyone, our team just had our dashboard switch to the new HTML editor and we can't find where to add link templating to the email. Does anyone know if this is a bug or it has moved? I looked throughout the settings, but am not seeing where it would be applied. Thank you!631Views0likes5CommentsMonitoring Subdomain Send Volume + Warmth
Hi Bonfire Community, We're in a bit of an odd situation where we have a few businesses (with their own subdomains) in our portfolio that send emails on a somewhat infrequent basis. Our previous ESP used shared pools, so email warmth wasn't something we had to worry about. Up to this point, we've been tracking the volume of sends (and date we sent) from those subdomains and the approximate warmth of the domain in our head, which isn't scalable as we add team members working on the email program. How is everyone tracking the volume/date of sends by subdomain? I had hoped to do this in Mixpanel, but the event payload passed doesn't contain the subdomain as a field, so it's effectively useless. I've done a bunch of googling, but I can't seem to turn up anyone talking about this. My fallback plan is to manually input sends to excel, but this seems archaic. Braze didn't seem to have any solutions when I reached out to support. Appreciate any ideas! D616Views0likes6CommentsCreating a report to identify campaign delivery (by custom attribute)
Goal: Ensure that anyone who falls under a custom attribute receives an email campaign. I will want the ability to update this report as I receive new Group ID's. Example: I want check if those with Group ID 12345 (group id being the custom attribute) received our onboarding email campaign and converted to users. Anytime we receive a Group ID-we send out the onboarding email campaign. We need to know: 1. How many people have that group ID 2. How many received the onboarding email campaign 3. If any have loyalty #'s 4. How many converted to users Report (Use Case): Create a report so that I can continue to update the Group ID.600Views0likes5CommentsHow do I make an email template mobile responsive?
I created an email template using the Blank Template option. It looks great on desktop but terrible on mobile devices. I looked under the email settings page, but I do not see an option to make it mobile responsive. How do I do this?600Views0likes5CommentsDefault 'From' address
Hi all! We have multiple teams under our account, each with a different sending address. Under Email Configurate we're required to set one of our teams as the "default" address. This has burned us a few teams when teams forget to set the sending info in campaigns and canvases. For anyone running multiple teams, any advice on how to treat this default address? We're training now, but setting the 'from' address isn't super intuitive for Campaigns and Canvases.Solved529Views0likes3CommentsRequest: Save Email as Template
I would love to have the ability to utilize emails I've created in campaigns in Canvases. But the only way to do that is to export the email out of campaign as a .zip file and then import it into templates. This then removes the best part of the email creation and editing process: drag and drop! So then I can no longer edit the email in the canvas without digging into the code. Anyone else have this problem? This is a feature I've been able to use in other email marketing services like hubspot! Would love a "save email as template" dropdown option. Or, when I'm creating a canvas, be able to select emails that I've created in campaigns.505Views4likes2Comments
