Hello fellow Braze orchestrators, I didn't make it to Forge in person this year, but it was great tuning in to the keynotes and catching up on all the latest Braze innovations. 🔥 Here is a quick Canvas that we are about to launch to drive repurchase of two of our products that customers need to by on a regular basis. Entry criteria: purchase of a certain SKU Experimentation (both set up as Personalized Path): Message timing (30 days vs 45 days after the purchase) Message channel (email vs SMS, in this case) Message sequence: A user gets a reminder to repurchase the product she might be running low on; If a user engages with the message from step 1, but does not purchase, he receives a reminder 3 days later with a special offer, to incentivize the purchase. Let me know if you see any opportunities for improvement. I imagine, soon we will be able to simplify this flow by leveraging all the upcoming Braze AI tools. Hey bonfirers (that's a word right?) Bit of a random one that I'm a little stumped on solving. I'm trying to target any users that received a message tagged with "ABC" in April. I can't use the segmentation filter 'Last received message from Campaign or Canvas with tag' because most users will have received messages with that tag already in May. Does anyone have any clever workarounds they can share?604Views1like5CommentsHow are you thinking about frequency capping?
Hey everyone! I'm currently doing a review of our frequency capping strategy to ensure that our fans are receiving the 'correct' number of comms and ensuring that the most relevant messages are prioritised. As part of this I'll be deep diving into contact frequency analysis, and reviewing engagement rate against number of messages received. Would love to hear from the community what you've tried/considered! How much do you rely on global frequency criteria and how much is determined at a segment level?376Views1like2CommentsEstimated Audience V Reachable Audience V sent
Hi, In campaign, does anyone know why the volumes between these 3 metrics would be so different, more so between reachable audience v what's actually sent (-255K). Est. audience (604K) Reachable Audience (601K) Sent (346K) Many Thanks,Solved121Views1like3CommentsLeveraging App Badges on iOS
What segmentation filters would I use to build a segment that pulls all iOS users who are eligible to receive an app badge? For instance, I imagine that some cocktail of these out-of-the-box segmentation filters would do the trick, but I'm not sure exactly how to dial them in (and couldn't find anything about this in Braze docs) Push Enabled Push Subscription Status Background Push Enabled Provisionally Authorized on iOS Any insight here would be super helpful, as I'm trying to measure what kind of lift we get when we use these app badges to bring users into the app during new feature announcements. Just to be super clear, here's what I'm referring to when I say app badge -- those little red dots we all know and love 🔴382Views1like2CommentsSegments
Does anyone know if it's possible to create groups within segments in Braze?I'd like to have two groups, where within each group, each condition is separated with 'AND' operators. Then in between the two groups, I want an 'OR' operator. But I can't seem to find a way to do this.325Views1like2CommentsUse most recent location in connected audience filters
Hi All, This conversation is related to a previous conversation I started about segmenting on locationbut is more related to API Triggering of canvases. I have a use case where I want to do some location based filtering, (e.g., select users with a most recent location inside an X miles radius of location Y). We can do this in the Braze UI quite easily, but unfortunately this requires static data from what I can see. We can't use a dynamic centre point or distance, e.g. using liquid or some other way of getting variables in. In other uses cases where we've needed to do dynamic filtering with API triggered canvases, I've used connected audience filters and passed them in with the API trigger. However, in this case I'm not sure it's possible - the documentation doesn't seem to specify anything around doing location based filtering or geofences. Just wondering if anyone has done anything similar? Or has any solutions? I've considered doing max latitude / min latitude, max longitude, min longitude type filtering, but it really needs to be radius based to fit in with some other requirements.294Views1like1Comment
